Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed a nice weekend. It's that time of year when I'm kind of torn between not-yet-ready-to-give-up-summer-but-hello-everything-pumpkin! Seriously, last Monday I was all about Jaws, but now I'm thinking who's ready for Halloween?! Christmas? Too soon? Never. Mwahahahaha! So, prepare yourselves for a whole lotta mish-mosh of every season/holiday under the sun over the coming weeks.
Well. . . Maybe everything except Valentine's Day, that's just crazy talk.
Today, I settled on a safe and happy medium. Fall.
*Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I die cut the first matted layer out of Crumb Cake cardstock using the largest rectangle from the Nesting Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Dies by Gina Marie Designs. On a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the splatter in Cherry Cobbler ink, Pumpkin Pie ink, Crushed Curry ink and Old Olive ink. I then stamped the tree in one of each of those same colors and adhere the trees to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I cut a piece of burlap jute ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the trees. Using the leaf punch, I punched out two leaves from Gold Glimmer paper. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on a small strip of Whisper White cardstock.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
