Hello readers and welcome! If this is your first time visiting my website, welcome! I am Crystal Komara, a.k.a. "Super Stamp Girl." If you are a regular visitor thanks for following along with me nearly every single day (Hi Kim, Margaret & Glennice)! I am truly grateful for each of you and I'm happy, and humbled, that you come back for some creative inspiration and, at times, a little entertaining humor from the oh-so-glamorous life of a triple cat mom and stamping fiend!
Today (and every Wednesday) I share my Design Team card for the Watercooler Wednesday challenges. This week Helen is our host and the theme is "Masculine Anything Goes." The timing of this challenge is great because I was looking through my stash of birthday and get well soon cards for men and the options are pretty slim. Like three. And two of them aren't really that good!
In fact, they are both in need of an extreme card makeover.
Ooh, note to self, this would be a great future blogpost. . . I've got oodles of cards that could use a facelift!
So, ya'll know me and know that I'm a full disclosure kind of girl. There's no bull here on SSG! In this section of my blogpost I usually detail how I make my projects, but UGH, I hate to say it, I simply just don't love this card, so I kinda don't feel like telling you how I made it! Not sharing my supply list either. You don't know it yet, but you do not want to make this card. I promise, you'll thank me later. Looking back now I think the heat embossed gold wood block is all wrong and too dark in color. Plus, my photography lighting was "too hot" and washed out portions of the card. So, yeah, let's blame the photographer. She's fired!
Here is the challenge banner from Watercooler Wednesday that inspired today's card:
Thanks for visiting and keep on craftin' on!
(How do you like that Carol - no more "have a wonderfully creative day!? ; )
