Hello crafty people and TGIF!! Today is my last day in Maine at the Appalachian Trail Conference and I can't wait to go home! In honor of it being Friday, and my excitement to sleep in my own bed and cuddle with a trio of furbabies (oh yes and you too, Mr. Super Stamp Girl!) I'm sharing this fun rainbow of dragonflies card.
Enjoy your weekend!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Crumb Cake cardstock. I created the first matted layer from Crumb Cake cardstock using a Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die. I ran a sheet of Whisper White cardstock through a Stitched Rectangle die. I stamped a portion of the sentiment in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and the "rainbow" words were markered in with all the colors of the rainbow before being stamped.
I ran Real Red cardstock, Pumpkin Pie cardstock, Daffodil Delight cardstock,Garden Green cardstock, Pacific Point cardstock and Perfect Plum cardstock through the Detailed Dragonfly and cut them apart with my Paper Snips. I then reattached the dragonflies together in rainbow order and adhered them to the Whisper White cardstock using fine tip glue. Lastly, I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly over the card for added sparkle.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
