Yesterday, Stampin' UP! released the following announcement regarding one of it's own demonstrators, Tami White,
and I think it's an extraordinary achievement!
Congratulations, Tami White!
February 2018: Two Million Sales Achiever
August 2013: One Million Sales Achiever
Congratulations to gold elite demonstrator, Tami White, for becoming the first-ever 2 Million Career-to-Date Sales Achiever! Before this monumental achievement, she was the fourth person in Stampin' Up!'s 29-year history to reach the 1 Million Sales milestone; she also received the #1 Demonstrator of the Year award in 2011 and was a member of the 2006–2007 Advisory Board. We want to congratulate Tami on these outstanding accomplishments!
One of the first things you notice about Tami is her warm personality and amazing smile. She's genuine, down-to-earth, and a master salesperson. When asked the secret of her success, she replied immediately, "Taking chances. Trying new things."
When Tami first became a demonstrator, she held lots of workshops. She loved what she did, and she was successful—but she was determined to be open to new ideas. "If I hadn't taken a chance on stamp clubs," says Tami, "I wouldn't have the business I have today." Stamp clubs are now what sustain her business even as she expands her business into other avenues, like videos and live streaming events. And her stamp clubs don't just bring in sales—they have expanded her team. "The number one reason that people leave my stamp club is to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator," she says
Keeping with her philosophy about taking chances and trying new things, Tami's advice for other demonstrators is this: "You can have wonderful ideas, but if you don't act on them, they're not helping. Do it. Try it. Don't be afraid. If it doesn't work, try something else."
Tami will be the first to tell you that she got where she is today through hard work. "I work my tail off," says Tami. As she told her readers on her blog, "One million [and now two!] in stamps is A LOT of stamps; it doesn't happen by accident or overnight. It's years of dedication [and] loving what I do." Tami also has two wonderful sons, ages 17 and 19, who are extremely supportive of her and very involved with her Stampin' Up! business.
What is Tami’s favorite Stampin' Up! memory of all time? Riding across the stage at Leadership 2012 on a Harley Davidson!
Congratulations, Tami, on your extraordinary achievements!
You are an inspiration to everyone who knows you, and we can't wait to see what the future has in store for you!
