Hello readers and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm slightly embarrassed to show you the next two photos: these are the current state of my sequins in random containers and zip lock baggies. Well, at least the ones I could find anyway! However, I know some of you might also have sequin "situations" that are equally (or perhaps even more) embarrassing.
As I have been doing a lot of organizing in my own craft room and for Robin's Room, I am trying to find better storage solutions for some of my products. Sequins, buttons and other smaller embellishments have always presented a challenge for me. I haven't really found the best way to store these items, until now. I recently discovered this Darice Bead Storage system (for only $7.99) at my local Joann's craft store. Made of acrylic, not glass, this container is light, affordable and has 12 see-through jars per case.
It helps to unscrew the cover BEFORE you attempt to pour in the sequins!
The cutest ever ghost sequins from A Muse Studio. I can't wait to use these soon for my Halloween cards!
I love my new sequin storage! I am actually super excited to start making more shaker cards knowing that I can now find my sequins so easily. I had bought two cases at Joann's, but, so far have only filled up one.
That means more sequin shopping soon!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
