Happy c-c-cold, cold, cold Wednesday! I wish there was something else to talk about other than the mind numbing freezing temperatures, but what does that leave us? Obama's State of the Union? Justin Bieber's arrest? Superbowl Mania? Security at Sochi? Bitcoin popularity? Norovirus on cruise ships? Ay-yi-yi!
Let's talk cards and the fun sketch challenge presented by The Paper Players this week!
First, I wish you could have been a fly on the wall in my craft room after I cut this Modern Medley musical patterned DSP and spent the next ten minutes trying to figure out what notes were right side up and which were upside down! All I kept repeating in my head was Mrs. Love, my 8th grade music teacher nasally chanting, "EGBDF. Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge." What the ??? It's been a L-O-N-G time since I read sheet music from my clarinet playing band days. EGBDF is the mnemonic used by students for learning the lines of the treble clef. Did YOUR music teacher teach YOU that too? Oh gosh, did I just admit I was a band geek?
Okay, music notes go up (and down). Birds have wings and pearl dotted eyes. A little champagne glimmer paper blingy-bling and a few coursely hand drawn music notes and Voila! La pièce de résistance!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
