So last night, while I was linking up my WOYWW blog posting (scroll down for that post), I also stumbled across two new blog sites that I spent the evening reading about and I just couldn't wait to join in on their fun too!
T for Tuesday is sponsored by Elizabeth and Bleubeard. You'll have to check out Elizabeth's website to learn just who Bleubeard is. Clue #1: Will the curiousity kill you?
What piqued my interest (yup, that's how you spell "piqued") was that T for Tuesday is about sharing your T(ea) inspired stories. Straight from Elizabeth's own words, "You don't have to drink tea, you don't have to drink anything. You can always show art related to a mug, cup, tea bag, or anything else that is reminiscent of whatever you're drinking today." But, I am never without a cup of chai, so, T for Tuesday seems a perfect fit for me!
Here is my first official "T for Tuesday" photo. . .
WOW! It just exudes excitement, doesn't it? You can hardly contain your joyful giddiness? You want MORE photos? Okay, maybe not so much. . . it's hardly an earth shattering photo. In fact, it's quite the opposite, a rather run-of-the mill photo of my morning (which, for all intents and purposes, could be anyone's morning) as it exists at this very moment. I'm about to read the newspaper, my (look closely) lipstick stained Lang coffee mug poises so picturesquely along with a Post-it note to-do list and a pen, all beside my computer keyboard (not quite in the photo) as I sit typing this blog post.
But anyway, thank you Elizabeth, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog from Julia Dunnitt's Stamping Ground. I look forward to many more T on Tuesdays and desk hopping, with mug in hand, around the world.
And, since I am smiling so much from finding Elizabeth and Bleubeard, let's talk about the second blog I found which is all about sharing those smiles. . .
I'm a sucker for happy and/or inspiring stories, so I was delighted to stumble across "Share a Smile" with Annie from A Stitch in Time. My most recent inspiring story that I had posted was that of the Fallen Soldier Abord a Delta Flight. It is such a simple thing in life to smile, and, to find the good or positive in the world when we are forever inundated with the opposite.
So, today's smile is simple: Two new blog sites, and an endless opportunity to sharing a warm cup of coffee and a smile with people from all over the world. . .
