In all honesty, I hemmed and hawed for days about joining the Stampin' Up! Only challenge this week. Simply because their theme was "No Layers." I just feel that single layer cards are lacking something. Lacking a LOT of something. They just don't have that W-O-W factor! But, what is a challenge if I don't really challenge myself?
I was very pleased with how my card turned out. And yes, I say that with a hint of surprise too! I had envisioned a card that might look like a sweater with a diamond necklace hanging down. I toyed with making a couple different shapes out of the rhinestones, but a simple 3-drop style worked best. I think the rhinestones combined with a single layer of dry embossing with an argyle folder really gave it that oomph factor that I might not have been able to accomplish otherwise.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
