Happy Thursday to all my readers! Well, actually, I should say HAPPY HALLOWEEN instead! Another "trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat" evening is upon us. Though those of us in the New England area might be in for some rain they say. . . I'm particularly proud of my 6 bags of candy (the good stuff, too!) for $8.00 score at CVS! Thanks to their $1.88 per bag sale, plus a $4.00 Extrabucks coupon, the little ghosts and goblins visiting my house should leave happy with their cavity inducing goodies.
Today's card is NOT a Halloween card (BOOO) (pun intended), but, a card I made for the SUO Challenge #82 "Harvest Time." Technically, Halloween does fall in the midst of harvest season, so all's fair. I think I've made one too many Halloween cards during the month of October and that I have exhausted myself of all things Halloweenie. I'm ready to move on to the next season, so here it is:
Whisper White cardstock
Soft Suede Cardstock
Cherry Cobbler cardstock
Old Olive cardstock
Chamapgne Glimmer paper
Countryside Stamp Set
Soft Suede Striped grossgrain ribbon (I LOVE this stuff)
Autumn Accents Bigz
Spiderweb TIEF (to make those "veins" in the leaves)
Old Olive Marker
Basic Black ink
Cherry Cobbler ink
Thanks for stopping by and have a S-U-P-E-R day!
P.S. - Did you notice my little whoopsie in the card? Neither did I until I posted it! See how the truck was stamped in black and then was stamped on cherry cobbler cardstock and placed overlapping the first image? Look closely. See how I cut out the back tires? I forgot to do the same for the front one! Oops. I can't believe in all my OCDness that I didn't fix that and re-photograph it!
