Hello friends and happy Monday! It's going to be a fun and exciting week here on Super Stamp Girl because every day this week I will be sharing new products from the 2018-2019 Annual Idea Book & Catalog! And, on Friday, I will be doing a GIVEAWAY with some great prizes, so be sure to follow
along all week to see what's new!
Stampin’ Up! makes a point to keep an eye on color trends across different markets and industries. When they see changes happening, they review our color spectrum to ensure that we remain consistently on top of the trends. In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, they’ve decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover! Read more about the entire Color Revamp here. Despite this color revamp, there have been no changes to the In Color program. Every year we will continue to introduce five new In Colors that will be available for the ensuing two years.
For the first SNEAK PEEK at the new catalog, today we are focusing on the 2018-2020 In-Colors:
The first thing I do when I see a new color is say, "Well, that looks exactly like _________." I know I said Lovely Lipstick looks just like Melon Mambo, but when you compare them side by side, you can see the difference. Lovely Lipstick has more red undertones than pink:
I didn't really think Grapefruit Grove looked like any other orange we currently have and that's great because Pumpkin Pie is too orange for me, so I'm happy to have this new color!
When I first saw Pineapple Punch, I said, "Well, that looks exactly like Daffodil Delight!" But, no, it most certainly does not! It is a true bright yellow without orange undertones like you can now see when it is compared with Daffodil Delight:
Blueberry Bushel won me over simply because of it's name, and the fact that blues are among my favorite colors in general! Blueberry Bushel is a happy middle ground between Pacific Point and Night of Navy:
I thought Call Me Clover looked just like Emerald Envy, but there is a slight difference. Call Me Clover is more true green while Emerald Envy has bluish undertones:
Are you looking for some beautiful color inspiration with these new In Colors? Here is a Color Coach provided by Stampin' UP! that shows different color combinations that will pair well together for a variety of different looks:
I hope you have enjoyed this very colorful SNEAK PEEK at the 2018-2020 In-Colors.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
