You've heard of sleeptalking and sleepwalking, but have you ever heard of "sleep shopping?"
You know that moment when you're reading a book in bed and you start dozing off? The one where you slap yourself in the face with your book and momentarily wake up only to realize you've fallen asleep? Well, it happened to me the other night, only let me tell you, the iPad I was reading on gave me a big ol' fat lip and and apparently in that middle stage somewhere between asleep and awake, I hit "Add to Cart" and purchased this gorgeous stamp set on eBay:
It was kind of funny when I woke up the next morning and had 3 confirmation emails from PayPal regarding the online purchase I didn't recall making!
Here are the first two cards I did make with the retired stamp set, called "Fire Brigade," and, I assure you I was wide awake and NOT sleeping while I was stamping!
I wouldn't advise regular sleepshopping, in fact, it could have been downright dangerously expensive! Thank heavens it was only a stamp set and not a new Audi A4! But, in this case, I'm quite happy that my fingers did the work for me while my eyes were resting, because I'm loving this beautiful stamp set!
