Something is happening! I've been in a bit of a crafting rut lately. . .
I think it all started when I totaled up some of my recent stamping purchases (literally on paper) and realized I was out-of-control. $1,174 out of control! Yes, this number should shock and amaze you. It's shocking and amazing - and not in a good way. You know how they say there are five stages of grief? Allow me to introduce you to my new friends: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance:
Denial - I did not spend $1,174 on stamps in a month! There's NO way! That's just insane! What kind of crazy person spends $1,174 on stamps in one month!?
Anger - Holy $#%! I spent $1,174 on stamps in a month. No $#%#$@# way! I hate you rubberstamps. I hate you designer series paper.
I hate you Mint Macaron and your little dog too.
Bargaining - Well. . . . I kind of needed those stamps. . . I mean, I do teach card making classes. Plus, it was on sale. At like half-off! I won't buy any stamps next month at the Big E Heirloom Pro Rubberstamp Festival.
Depression - Oh no, this is bad. This is r-e-a-l-l-y bad I am the single worst person in the history of E-V-E-R. No one likes me. . . No one likes my cards. . .
Acceptance: Cheer up, buttercup! So, your bank account is $1,174 lighter. . . You're not eating Ramen Noodles just yet. You've got $1,174 worth of fantastic new stamps, so you better get using them!
But. . . did I use a one of them on today's card? Nope.
