While on our recent Cape Cod Craft Retreat, my friend Margaret and I discovered this Art Bin Sew-Lutions Slim Line Case at JoAnn Fabrics. It's original design was intended to hold pins and needles, or, scissors and bobbins on it's magnetic strip. Thus, you don't lose such small items while you work.
But, how many times have you lost a tiny steel die or a sticky photopolymer stamp? Ugh, drives me crazy! Gone through the trash to find it? Yup, me too! It's frustrating, time consuming and well. . . kinda gross depending upon what's in the trash can! So, with a little creative ingenuity, we re-purposed this fabulous find into a desktop die and stamp holder! You will never lose a tiny die or itty-bitty photopolymer stamp while you work again - if you keep this case on your craft desk.
When you open the Sew-lutions slim-line case, the magnetic side will secure your dies and the plastic side (essentially the top of the case) will secure your stamps. No more hunting around a messy desk Or worse. . .
