Hello readers, today I'd like to introduce you to a rubberstamp company called Creative Vision Stamps. Laura Bastian is the owner, operator and graphic artist behind Creative Vision Stamps. Creative Vision Stamps is based out of Laura's home business in Richfield, Wisconsin. I first "met" Laura four years ago when I was on the Creative Vision Stamps design team. Two years later, I finally ended up meeting Laura in person at the Heirloom Productions Rubberstamp Festival in West Springfield, Massachusetts. And, just last year, my mom and I both began traveling with Laura representing Creative Vision Stamps and assisting her at the shows with classes and booth demonstrations. See the Creative Vision Stamps show schedule here and be sure to visit when we are at a location near you!
Today I am sharing a fun Halloween stamp designed by Laura herself called Pet Monsters. This new release features four spooky cute critters dressed up in costume and some fun coordinating sentiments. Ya'll know that I have three little pet monsters myself but it's the grumpy cat in his candy corn costume that I love most from this set!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The first 5 1/4" x 4" sheet mat is made from a scrap piece of polka dot designer series paper. Using the Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangles, I die cut a medium sized rectangle out of Basic Black cardstock. I cut a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" sheet of brick patterned paper to fit inside the scalloped rectangle and also a piece of Old Olive cardstock that I ran through the Meadow Borders Lawn Cuts by Lawn Fawn for the grass. All images were stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The images were then colored using Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers. A Uniball white gel pen helped to add highlights to each image. The critters were adhered to the card using Pop Dots for added dimension.
Thanks for visiting and happy crafting!
