Happy Monday to you! It's a fresh start to a new week and thankfully, it's not hovering anywhere around zero this morning, so things are already looking up!
Today's card was inspired by the Paper Craft Crew's Card Sketch #78. Here is their challenge banner:
I should note that many of the sketches allow for flexibility in the shapes they provide, but, I did choose to stick with very similar shapes (minus the arrow) for this card. I think arrows are just plain weird. Well, maybe except for Valentine's Day and Cupid and being struck with an arrow and all that nonsense, but other than that, here's an arrow - look up! Or look down. . . Look sideways?! I just don't get them. What are YOUR thoughts on arrows?
Anyway, here is my card for the Paper Craft Crew's sketch challenge. I was quite pleased with how it turned out. I think black and white offers a very simple classic elegance. The praying hands and "thinking of you" sentiment could be very versatile - sympathy, challenging times, get well, or even a baptism or christening.
