It's at the end of August when I start to hear everyone talk about everything "back to school" related that I don't want summer to fully end. Sure, I complain when it is too humid, too hot or too sticky to go outside, but, I know that all too soon, I'll be complaining that it's too cold, too dry or to snowy to leave the comforts of my home. It is fall I look forward to most though, and it can't come soon enough.
But, we're not there yet. . .
It IS still August, and, with a color combination like the one below from Pals Paper Arts, how can you not think of watermelon in the summertime?!
Sweet, juicy, running down your chin, spitting out the seeds (ugh, I HATE that part), staining your fingers and clothes watermelon. It truly is a classic staple of summer.
Just a little easy trick to make those watermelon slices:
Yes, those little seeds are hand drawn! Come on, they don't have to be perfect!
