Hello friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Did you do anything fun and exciting? I will admit mine was a bit of a lazy kind of weekend, but oh so blissfully peaceful. We had full intentions of going out to dinner on Saturday night, but, I just couldn't bring myself to get my butt off the couch and into "real" clothes. I'm assuming you'll agree with me that pj's are not "real" or even mildly appropriate clothes for a restaurant. . .
I did get to spend a LOT of time in my craft room, which is what made the weekend so blissfully peaceful. My craft room doesn't judge me if I want to stay in my pj's all day. It truly is my happy place!
Today's card combines the colors from the Pals Paper Art challenge:
With the sketch from those great gals, Connie and Mary:
I will admit to being a little worried about combining three different hues of blue. And I LOVE blue! If I'd have had a shoe stamp, I was going with the idea of "Blue Suede Shoes", but alas, no shoe stamp for me (*Note - add that to my ever growing list. . . )
Instead, we have a beautiful garden of blue flowers from the new "Painted Petals" stamp set:
I hope you enjoy today's card and it doesn't leave you feeling blue. . .
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
