Hello friends and happy Sunday to you! I hope you are all having a great weekend! Yesterday I hosted a Birthday Bash Stamp-A-Stack from 10 am until 2 pm. It was only a small group of five ladies, but they had a whole lotta fun making their cards, eating sweets and winning raffle prizes! Hey, the odds of winning when only 5 people play are pretty good! I hope you have been enjoying many of the new products I have been sharing here on Super Stamp Girl this week. I have had a lot of fun playing around and creating with these new items! Starting this coming Friday, September 1, you can order from the new 2017 Holiday Occasions Catalog that I have been raving about, so get your wish list(s) ready! Yes, you might need more than 1 list! : ) Here are a few must-haves: Seasonal Lantern, Half Full and Painted Harvest, which is the roughly etched new sunflower themed stamp set I am
using on today's cards.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Thick Very Vanilla cardstock. The first 5 1/4" x 4" matted layer is Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (available September 1). Before adhering this DSP to the base of the card, I wrapped Early Espresso Seam Binding Ribbon (retired) around it. Using the Stitched Nesting Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs, I die cut a circle from Daffodil Delight cardstock. Using Early Espresso ink, I stamped the sentiment in the upper left corner of the circle.
I stamped the sunflowers in a combination of So Saffon ink and Daffodil Delight ink. The centers of the sunflowers were stamped in Early Espresso ink. Each of the sunflowers was handcut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using Pear Pizzazz ink I stamped the leaves on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and used the new Leaf Punch (available September 1) to punch them out. Lastly, I added a splash of Clear Wink of Stella to the centers of the sunflowers for some added sparkle.
Using many of the same products, here is another card I made using the Painted Harvest stamp set:
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
