If you should ever come across my mother or Mr. Super Stamp Girl ask them to tell you about the time I ordered a martini at the Tunnel Bar in Northampton, Massachusetts. To this day it remains a good laugh and the first, last and only time I have had a martini. In. My. Life. Remember this, gin is not your friend. While I don't love martini's, red wine or dark beer, I do love a good stamp set that delivers fun puns and fruity cheers. This stamp set called Martini Time byMy Favorite Things is perfect for those, like me, who prefer to stamp, and not drink their martini's!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs, I cut the first layer from Basic Black cardstock. On a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock, I stamped the ink blotches in Lemon Lime Twist ink, Flirty Flamingo ink and Pineapple Punch ink. I stamped the sentiment in the upper right corner in Memento Tuxedo black ink. I stamped each martini glass in those same three ink colors on a separate sheet of white cardstock and then die cut them. I stamped the martini shaker in Gray Granite ink on white cardstock. I stamped the lemon in Pineapple Punch ink and die cut it out. I stamped the olive in Memento Tuxedo black ink and cut it out. I adhered all the images to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height. I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels above each martini glass. Lastly, I put a coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the martini shaker, lemon and olive to give it a glossy hardened coat.
