Hello readers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We went duckpin bowling on Saturday with some friends and it was SOooo much fun! I hadn't been bowling in years, well, let's just say the last time I bowled there were no electronic scoreboards - so yeah, it's been a while! The coolest part of the whole night? The bowling shoes!
Okay, okay, so I know bowling shoes aren't really known for being fashionable or cool, but when they were once made in your hometown of Dexter, Maine, and your parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles, and everyone (and their brother) all worked there and your entire childhood all comes rushing back to you while standing in the basement of a CVS that's been a bowling alley since 1939, it's a cool night people.
But, anyway, today's post is not about bowling shoes, but this card I created that was inspired by the color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary. I will admit that when I first saw this trio of colors I was a little skeptical. I could only think of masculine ideas, so I went in a couple different directions before settling on flowers.
I even amaze myself sometimes with the end result!
