Hello friends and TGIF! I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend ahead! I have been working hard every evening this week preparing for my "Make It Merry" holiday cardmaking extravanganza Saturday night! I still have a LOT to do before tomorrow's big event. I've got desserts to bake and a holiday music playlist to create. . . This part I'm kinda dreading because I have a hard time playing Christmas music before December 1st!
Can't make this class? See other upcoming classes and events I have planned HERE.
Be sure to follow along on my Instagram stories as I share some behind-the-scenes snaps from all the fun!
Today I am sharing a card made using the Hog Heaven stamp set by My Favorite Things. It even includes an interactive flip-fold fence that I created myself. Enjoy today's card and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
Here is a close-up of the flip-fold fence. You can see the pig's head peeking out from the front and his cute little pig tail from behind!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangles from Gina Marie Designs I cut the background out of Pear Pizazz cardstock. I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes paper as the background (I did not watercolor or create the blue sky). Using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Border I cut the grass from Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock and colored them in with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink markers. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered all images to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height. Lastly, I placed a coat of Clear Wink of Stella on each pig for a little extra sparkle.
Thanks for visiting!
