Today a group of nearly 40 ladies leave for our "Blissful Creative Weekend Retreat" in the Berkshires. SO EXCITED!! I'll be sure to share many photos with you upon my return. In the event of poor internet reception over the next few days, I've pre-planned my posts for you.
Let's start with today's card for the Merry Monday Christmas Card challenge. Their theme was "Ornaments and Blues and Silvers." I had a vision in my head of using embossing powders for this challenge. I don't know about you, but I do not use my heat gun very often. I tend to think of heat embossing as such a cumbersome thing to do, although after I do it, I say to myself, "why don't I do this more often?" It's really not so cumbersome at all. It always turns out quite lovely in fact. Perhaps it's more of the messiness associated with the powder that my OCD self freaks out in reaction to! What are your thoughts on heat embossing?
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
