As we are currently between holidays I am finding it challenging to share with you things other than Christmas cards. It seems natural to want to make a bazillion holiday cards, because 'tis the season, but, I know that if I make nothing but Christmas cards between now and December 25th, I will have exhausted myself of Christmas before it even arrives! So, I will continue to share a variety of cards here, both Santa and snowmen alike. When you live in New England and see snow pretty much anytime from November through April, it's snowman (and woman) season six months of the year!
Ugh, now that's kinda depressing. . .
Today's snowpeople card features a Distress Oxide ink blended background and the Making Frosty Friends stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. I die cut the background from Neenah Solar White paper using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Backdrop. I sponged the background using Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked. I cut three birch trees using the Lawn Fawn Birch Trees Lawn Cuts. Before I adhered the background frame to the card I adhered Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter to the two "snowbank" rows. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers. I die cut the images using the coordinating Making Frosty Friends dies and adhered them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink in the lower left corner.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
