Hello readers and happy Tuesday! Today I am excited to be sharing a brand new release from Technique Tuesday with you called, "Luscious Grapes." Luscious Grapes is part of Technique Tuesday's Greenhouse Society monthly stamp collection. On the first of each month Technique Tuesday releases a new set of flower stamps and matching craft dies. Each stamp set includes a classic flower or nature-themed image along with thoughtful card sentiment stamps, plus there is the option of adding the coordinating die to create your own beautiful handmade garden!
Last month the creative team behind Technique Tuesday reached out to me when I was on vacation in Maine, asking if I would be interested in working with some of their products! They had "discovered" me via Instagram and were very complimentary of my work. Squeal!! People DO notice little 'ol me! So, they sent me this new release and I hope I make them proud with today's creations!
*Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs, I cut the first layer from Whisper White cardstock. I randomly splattered some Gorgeous Grape ink over this cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment "Aged to Perfection" in Gold Embossing Powder. I stamped the grapes twice on Watercolor Cardstock and heat embossed them also in Gold Embossing Powder. I watercolored the image in with Distress Oxide inks and die cut the images. I layered one set slightly off of the other one with Stampin' Dimensionals to create added height.
This little silver Gable Box is a pre-made box from Stampin' UP! I cut a 12" piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and randomly stamped "Good Times" in Gorgeous Grape ink over it before wrapping it around the gable box with thin line tape. This time I stamped the grape image on Watercolor cardstock and heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder. Again, I watercolored in the image with Distress Oxide inks. I die cut the sentiment "Cheers" from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and adhered it across the grapes.
For today's last project using the Luscious Grapes stamp, I created this 4 x 4" shaker note card:
The base of this 4" square note card is made from Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I lined the notecard with Whisper White cardstock and stamped the grape image in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. I then colored in the grapes with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink markers and some detail work in a white gel pen. I stamped the little individual grapes on both Gorgeous Grape cardstock and Highland Heather cardstock. I die cut about 25 grapes and created a shaker card with the grapes and purple sequins. I created a scalloped frame to go around the shaker card. I die cut the word "Cheers" from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and Silver Glimmer paper and layered them slightly offset to create height and interest.
A big thanks to Technique Tuesday for providing me with these stamps to create.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
