Hello friends and happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend. We had ZERO on the calendar for this weekend (a total departure from the past few weekends) and it's just been lovely. A little bit of this and a little bit of that and a whole lotta nothing! Which, when I say "nothing," really means all the crafty time I want, and I think that's the best way to spend a weekend.
I recently picked up this beautiful 6 x 6 pack of paper (photo seen below) from my local A.C. Moore (yay, it was on sale 2 for $5) and couldn't wait to use it. Since I rarely make baby cards, I thought I'd do something different with the soft floral pattern because it really is a beautiful background for this heat embossed pram.
The base of this A2 size card is made from Thick Whisper White cardstock. I took a sheet of paper from the Love Nicole paper pack and ran it through my Big Shot using a stitched scalloped rectangle die. I tied a piece of Blushing Bride ribbon around the mat and adhered it to the card base.
I die cut a stitched oval from Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to a Blushing Bride scalloped oval. Using Blushing Bride ink, I stamped the sentiment "It's a girl" on the bottom of the white oval. I adhered the oval to the floral paper using Stampin' Dimensionals. On Blushing Bride cardstock, I stamped the pram in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I adhered the pram onto the center of the oval using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a small flower from Blushing Bride cardstock and a large Pearl Basic Jewel in the center of the flower.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
