Hi friends and happy Friday! I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend ahead! Mr. SSG and I have a quiet day planned for Saturday, but, on Sunday I am looking forward to getting together with a few of my Cape Cod Crafting friends. My friend Margaret will be hosting us in her beautiful new home and hopefully she will let me take some photos and share them with you next week, because I've already seen her craft space and it is SO AH-mazing!
Today I am sharing a whole bunch of alcohol ink backgrounds that I created on Yupo paper recently when I was just playing around in my craft room. My goal last weekend was to simply spend a day experimenting with these inks and to create pieces for future card use. I often feel pressured to meet Design Team or challenge deadlines and don't feel as though I get to just play and create for the fun of it! Despite being very messy, my fingernails are STILL blue, I did have a lot of fun and decided that I need to dedicate more time to just playing around and/or watching tutorials.
Look at how beautiful some of these pieces came out:
Do you have a favorite? I'm kind of partial to the pink and purple ones!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
