I love change and now that I say that, oh what a weird word it is. Change. Say it aloud to yourself, it's an odd word, right? But, it's true, I do love most changes. It brings new energy, new life, excitement and it's a way to evolve. We are always evolving, and these past few weeks I, personally, have been evolving a lot. My fashion has changed (always for the better) and as a result, I've taken bags of clothing to consignment. My stamping style has changed, after years of stamping, I finally have come to terms that I don't like coloring and I don't like cutesy. As a result, I've done a great deal of cleaning out and selling stamps. But, more importantly I'm working on acceptance. It's okay that I don't like my old palazzo pants (they were most certainly NOT a hit in my office either!) as I still have so many other beautiful clothes. It's okay that I don't like to color, I make so many other beautiful cards. It's okay that I can't make the perfect chocolate chip cookie, my oatmeal cookies rock. I feel like I'm coming into a new phase in my life. And, you'll see my website has evolved this week as well, to reflect many of the changes I feel I've been going through in life recently. I've simplified, much like how I've done with my clothes and my stamps. And for me, simple is good.
