Hey gullfriends! : ) I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July holiday! It was crazy H-O-T here in Massachusetts, so I spent the entire day in my craft room and I got SOoooo much accomplished! Some days the creativity just doesn't flow well, but yesterday was AWESOME! I worked ahead on some upcoming DT challenges, got a few cards made for next weeks' blog posts and I even started planning my August and September classes! Yup, all in one day! Then I celebrated with a cheeseburger and blueberry pie!
Today I am sharing a fun shaker card made using a stamp set I purchased last week when I was at The Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. This is my first time using a stamp set by Pink & Main and I love how this card turned out!
Here is the adorable new stamp set from Pink & Main called "Gullfriend" that I used to make today's card:

The base of this A2 sized card is Whisper White cardstock. I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it directly to the center of the card base. Using Pacific Point ink, I stamped the "hey, gullfriend" sentiment near the top of that piece of cardstock. I die cut two waves in Balmy Blue cardstock and Pacific Point cardstock using the Stitched Waves Border dies by Lawn Fawn and adhered those underneath the sentiment. I created a shaker card frame by using layered Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched rectangles in Crumb Cake. I added Simon Says Stamp Mermaid sequins to the inside of the card before I adhered the shaker card frame. On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the old Jeep "Woody" Wagoneer and seagulls in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. I colored in these images with my Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers (hey, don't judge, I'm still learning!). I added the two images to the outside of the shaker frame using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a bit of Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter to the sand underneath the seagulls and to the surfboard atop the Woody for extra beach-y sparkle.
I was inspired to create this card using the color challenge from Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration:
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
