Hi crafty people and happy Thursday! We are just one day away from a L-O-N-G holiday weekend and I can't wait! My parents will be visiting from Maine and we're all super excited for the Granville Harvest Fair! Last year we spent Columbus Day weekend in Maine at the Fryeburg Fair, so yeah, we're fall festival kinda people! That's just one of the many things I love about living in New England.
Today's card featuring the new Merry Cafe stamp set, an accoutrement to the Coffee Cafe bundle, is perfect for all things fall! And how about that plaid!?
The base of this A2 sized card is Blackberry Bliss (retired). The first matted layer is 5 x 3 3/4" Crumb Cake cardstock. Adhered to that is ascrap piece of plaid paper (source unknown). I die cut a 3" circle from vellum using this Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circle die and adhered it to the left side of the card trimming the left side off the circle off. I cut a piece of Gold Glimmer paper 3" x 1" and cut the right side at an angle and adhered it on top of the vellum circle.
I die cut two coffee cups, one in Crumb Cake cardstock and one in Whisper White cardstock. The two coffee cup lids were die cut from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and Crumb Cake cardstock. I die cut the two coffee "cozies" from Whisper White cardstock and Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on one of the coffee "cozies" in Blackberry Bliss ink. I also stamped a few leaves onto one coffee cup using Pumpkin Pie ink. I assembled both coffee cups and adhered them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
