OMGod! (That's like OMG, but with way more emphasis.) Let's talk kid in a candy shop this weekend here. . . This past Saturday and Sunday was the annual Heirloom Productions Rubberstamp Festival in West Springfield, Massachusetts. I didn't get to spend nearly as much time there as I would have liked, but, in the two hours that I was there I was immensely inspired, motivated, overwhelmed, impressed, and at times, awestruck and almost speechless by the amazing talent, cool techniques and stunning samples that filled the building. From the minute I walked into the exposition hall, to the very last die I purchased, I couldn't wait to get home and start crafting and creating.
I will say that the samples at the Heartfelt Creations, Northwoods Stamps and Our Daily Bread Designs are among my all-time favorites. They are simply beautiful cards with multi-dimensional detail, thoughtful sentiments and detailed embellishments. While I was admiring their beauty, I couldn't help but think that they made my own cards look like garbage and I totally needed to step it up. WAY up. You just wait. . .
