Hello my friends and happy H-O-T 4th of July! It's way too hot for me, so I'll be celebrating inside! Today I am happy to share with you that I am now a Watercooler Artist with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenges. They canvassed for Design Team members a few weeks ago and I was delighted and honored that they selected me to join their creative team! It has been just over a year since I was last on a design team and while I have enjoyed a break from the commitments, I do look forward to being part of a team again and commenting on participant entries. So, I hope you'll join us this week and I look forward to seeing YOUR creations with our "feminine - anything goes" themed challenge.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. The first matted layer is a 5 1/4" x 4" sheet of DSP from the Photoplay Live Free paper pack in the stars pattern. Using the Stitched Scalloped Ovals, I die cut an oval from Real Red cardstock and one from Whisper White cardstock. In the center of the Whisper White oval cardstock, I stamped the lower half of the lady and her striped skirt in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. On a separate sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sign in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and fussy cut the sign. I stamped "Woo Hoo" in the center of the sign in Real Red ink and adhered it to the oval using Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the balloons in White Stampin' Emboss powder on both Real Red and Night of Navy cardstock. I fussy cut the balloons in both colors and arranged them with a little of each color showing. The balloons were adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the balloons for a little 4th of July sparkle.
Here are the banners that inspired my card:
