Hello my friends and happy Wednesday to you! I hope you are having a good week so far! It was purely by coincidence that today's card is also "joy" themed, much like yesterday's, or this card I posted earlier.
But, 'tis the season!
I finally purchased this new stamp set called "Good Tidings" and had some time to play around with it this past weekend. It is a two-step stamp and I love these kinds of stamps because I feel like the layering of multiple colors gives a more realistic looking effect that adds a lot of depth and dimension to a card.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Thick Whisper White cardstock. Using the Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Stitched Rectangle dies, I cut the largest rectangle from Real Red cardstock. On a sheet of 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White cardstock, I randomly stamped the holly and berries using Real Red ink, Garden Green ink and Old Olive ink. I cut a small strip of Gold Glimmer paper and centered it on the card. Using the Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circles die, I cut a 3" circle out of Real Red cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss powder. Lastly, I popped up the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
