Now that I have publicly apologized to Lemon Lime Twist, it's time to share more of the cards I have been making with it! There IS a time and a place for this bright and bold color! Lemon Lime Twist works great as the base color for this fun Hero Arts Color Layering Parrot.
The base of this A2 sized card is Crumb Cake cardstock. I then matted a beautiful sheet of tropical designer series paper (sorry, company unknown) onto a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I flipped one piece of tropical DSP onto the other side for the turquoise patterned strip of paper measuring 3 1/2" x 1 1/2". I adhered this strip to the center of the card. On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment in Lemon LIme Twist ink. I die cut a stitched scallop circle from Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the parrot's base layer, I stamped the solid parrot body in Lemon Lime ink on Whisper White cardstock. Directly over that ink, I stamped the parrot's second layer in Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the third layer of the parrot's body in Tempting Turquoise ink and the parrots head was stamped in Real Red ink. I adhered the parrot using Stampin' Dimensionals to the die cut circle and added two gold glimmer paper leaves.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
