I'm a little bit excited about today's card because I used a stamp set that I have never used before. That's always a challenge in and of itself! It is a cute set of couches, lamps and chairs from Paper Trey Ink. In addition, I have been pulling paper from my scraps bin, so this card was made entirely of scrap paper! I had to search high and low for a stamp set that fit the "theme of time" as needed for the Friday Mashup challenge. The sketch part was easy enough, but I wanted to find a way to mash it up. I was kind of surprised that I had nothing with clocks or even any other play on words having to do with time - lifetime, time to dance. . . Until I found this one single stamp in the PTI set, that said "It's TIME for some girl talk!" Perfect.
So, the criteria for the challenge is as follows:
1. Create a project with the theme of time.
2. Create a project using the sketch.
3. Or, mash it up and create a project using the sketch AND the theme of time.
Here is my card:
Considering it was -8 degrees this morning, it's definitely time for some warm indoor activities!
Thanks for stopping by! Stay warm and have a S-U-P-E-R day!
