TGIF! Let's have a little fun today and take a break from stamp talk! Here's a look at my week:
What I'm Watching:
Zoo is an American drama television series based on the novel of the same name by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge. Zoo premiered on CBS in June of 2015. The premise of the series: “For centuries, mankind has been the dominant species. We domesticated animals, locked them up, killed them for sport. But what if all across the globe, the animals decided no more? And so we were hired a team of people from different backgrounds, with different specialties: an expert in animal behavior, a journalist, safari guide, foreign intelligence agent, and a veterinary pathologist. The task: to find out what is happening with the animals, why it's happening, and how to stop it.”
What I'm Reading:
In 2000, Daniel Suolo left his entire life savings in a phone booth, walked away, and has lived moneyless ever since. Most frequently, he lives in the caves and wilderness of Utah where he eats wild vegetation, scavenges roadkill, pulls food from dumpsters, and is sometimes fed by friends and strangers. Daniel proudly boasts that he does not take food stamps or government handouts.
What I'm Playing:
So, the funniest thing about Mountain Goat Mountain is that I read about in one of those celebrity tabloid magazines (my secret addition)! Adam Levine of Maroon 5 is apparently hooked. So I thought I’d check it out. Mountain Goat Mountain is a fast arcade game, where you climb the highest and most treacherous mountain ever seen by a goat. JUMP up the mountain. Jump up the mountain.. Jump up the mountain… you get the idea. CLIMB to all new heights to show your friends that when the goating gets tough, you get goating. So far, I’ve starved my goat 3 times, flattened him with a falling snowball and sent him soaring off a cliff. All in under 30 seconds!
What I'm Eating:
It has been WAY too hot for me to eat much of anything this week, so I'm relying on some Mango Rita's Ice and lots of protein fruit smoothies!
What I'm Photographing:
The 15th Annual Hartford Dragonboat Race & Festival
I hope you all have a wonderful Mountain Goat playing, Rita's Ice eating, Zoo watching multi-cultural weekend!
