Hello friends and happy Friday to you!
Today is a Fab(ulous) Friday too as I'm joining up with their sketch challenge this week. I hope you all have fun things planned for this Easter holiday weekend ahead. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my brother and his family whom I haven't seen in nearly two years, when we last visited them in Japan! (See more photos from that ah-mazing trip here and here). I can only imagine in those two years that my nieces have grown immensely and I'll be meeting my nephew for the very first time!
For the focus of today's card I used the "Swallowtail" stamp. It's a gorgeous and very large background stamp, but sometimes I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Rather that opting for bright summery colors, I opted to make this into a sympathy card and thought black and gold makes for a regal and elegant statement.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter!
