I can't believe how early Easter is this year! This weekend people! I don't have all my cards made and if I don't get to the post office stat, the rest will never arrive on time. Eeeegh! It's gearing up to be a Valentine's Day card debacle all over again! OMG, I'm totally slacking!
This is another card that we made last week at my Easter stamp camp and this was one of my favorites.
The bright Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral colors really are a sure sign of spring, even where there is still 8" of snow
on the ground outside telling me otherwise. . . Spring IS coming.
So is Christmas.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. The first 5 3/8" x 4 1/4" sheet of yellow designer series paper was from my scrap pile (source unknown). Using the Gina Marie Stitched Scalloped Nesting Rectangles I cut one rectangle from Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut a small piece of Whisper White cardstock to fit inside the scalloped rectangle. On this sheet of cardstock, I stamped the tulip stems in Crumb Cake ink and the 2-layer tulips in both Daffodil Delight ink and Calypso Coral ink. I wrapped a piece of Whisper White ribbon around the scalloped piece before adhering it to the card base. On a small scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiment "Easter Blessings" in White Stampin' Emboss powder and then I die cut it using a retired framelit. I added lots of Clear Wink of Stella to the tulips for added sparkle. Lastly, I added three small Pearl Basic Jewels to the top left corner of the stamped image for depth and dimension.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
