Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Boy, did I wake up on the wrong side of bed this morning. I don't know what's going on, but for some unknown reason I am just a bear. And not the cute and fuzzy type either! I'm like a crazed mama grizzly today.
It ain't pretty. I didn't sleep all that well and my hair was being difficult (ugh, I'm trying to let it grow and I'm sooooo ready to chop it all off). Instagram has another new ridiculous algorithm. The morning commute was a traffic construction nightmare
and my heels are already killing me by 8:23 am.
I need a manicure desperately, but there's no time to do so and that's stressing me out. . .
So, I just ate a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast with my morning chai.
I think today might be one of those eat my feelings away kinda day!
Anyway. . . Today I'm sharing another card that we will be making at my stamp camp tomorrow night. Did you see Monday's baseball themed card? Much like that card, I also created this card with one of tomorrow's stampers in mind.
In fact, I actually created all four cards for the class specifically for Tim (my only male stamper).
Knowing that Tim enjoys wine, I hope he will like this fun shaker card.
*Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. I cut a sheet of Merry Merlot measuring 5" x 3 3/4" and a sheet of Gold Confetti paper (sorry, source unknown!) measuring the same. First I heat embossed the sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss powder. I die cut four wine bottles out of the Merry Merlot cardstock and then lined the entire backside of the cardstock with a sheet of acetate. I placed the Gold Confetti cardstock on the white card base and added about two tablespoons of gold and clear sequins on top of the paper. I lined the back of the acetate with Foam Adhesive Strips to form a base for the shaker card. Then I pulled off the adhesive strips and attached the Merry Merlot cardstock to the front of the card.
I hope today's card inspires YOU to create something beautiful.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
