It's no secret that I love, love, love organization! I am forever organizing and re-organizing my craft room (and everything else in
my life - pantry, closet, car, office, Pinterest boards, recipe books, etc)! Trust me though, it's a blessing AND a curse!
But, yes, if you are wondering, I actually ENJOY this, and as such, I am always looking for products that will allow for optimal organization.
While I feel like my home craft room is organized enough (for now!), I struggle with organizing my crafts when I travel. I have spent the past two evenings unpacking from our recent 2018 Cape Cod Craft Retreat and it was a hot mess! My current craft travel organization "system" consists mostly of cardboard shoeboxes piled into My Thirty-One tote bags. The shoeboxes are bending or breaking under the weight of cardstock, ink pads are leaking, and well, let's face it, it is just a shoebox afterall - there is no formal organization when things just get tossed in to it's 13" x 7 1/2" rectagonal vortex!
On this year's retreat, Margaret, my friend and fellow organizer (who seriously puts me to shame), brought her crafts in this fabulous new-to-me storage system by Deflecto. We all oohed and aahed at her insanely neat containers and sorted by craft compartments!
Keep adding caddies for additional storage and organization:
Each individual caddy includes three different sized containers, perfect for storing a wide variety of supplies:
In the event you begin to accumulate multiple caddies, there is also a Stack and Go Caddy Wheel Base:

Ha! Shoeboxes be gone! For all future craft retreats I'm going in uber-organized style with these babies!
Do you have any great organizational products or systems that would help myself or other readers?
