Hello readers! Today we are going to talk about remorse. Both buyer and seller. Who has purchased a stamp set then decided they didn't like it!? Me. Now. . . Who has sold that stamp set only to re-purchase it three months later when they decided they DID like it!? Me. Ugh, I've done this multiple times now! Most recently was when I sold the Half Full wine stamp set to my friend Moira (Hi, Moira!), and, again with this Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating punch. Okay, I didn't really buy it again per say, but, as a demonstrator I had earned some free products and I selected this bundle. Truth be told, through the years I have sold or given away many crafting items that I now probably wish I hadn't. Anyone else have these regrets?
My main reason for cleaning out and getting rid of things is to keep an organized craft room, but, I think this time I have finally learned my lesson. I'm wasting money that could be better spent, especially now that I have established a craft budget. I need to be less quick to judge and to keep things longer because there is a good chance that what I don't like today, I might love tomorrow. As a result, I spent a rainy Sunday evening pulling many stamps out of my sale bins and incorporated them back into my craft room.
But, sometimes the second (or even the third time) is a charm! I am so glad that I did buy the Daisy Delight bundle, because now I am LOVING
this beautiful set all over again!
The base of this card is made from Whisper White cardstock. I cut a patterned sheet of Sweet Soiree DSP to 5" x 4 1/4" and adhere it to the center of the Whisper White card base. I die cut the flourish from Old Olive cardstock and adhered it to the center right of the card using a glue dot runner. On a 1 3/4" x 2 3"4 sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the Thank You sentiment in Old Olive ink and the smaller sentiment in Peekaboo Peach ink. I mounted the sentiment on a 3" x 2" sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock. I stamped two daisies in Calypso Coral onto Whisper White cardstock and punched them out with the coordinating daisy punch. I adhered one daisy on top of the other using a Stampin' Dimensional for added height. I placed three rhinestones in the center of the top daisy for dimension. Lastly, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the daisies for added sparkle.
