Who are the "Blogging Friends?"
Three years ago, I organized a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop.
Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created for you!
In case you’ve never ‘done’ a blog hop before, it’s really easy. At the bottom of this post, you’ll see a "next" image and when you click on it, you’ll be taken directly to the next participant in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you’ll hop through all of the participating blogs, back to where you started – and you’ll see all of the amazing projects created for your inspiration.
I promise, you won't want to miss a stop! We try and wow you each month with our creativity!
I must also share with you that unfortunately October will be the last month I participate in this monthly hop. I have made the decision to separate from Stampin' UP! and as such, I will no longer be able to participate and lead the Blogging Friends Blog Hop. It is my hope that the hop will still continue on in my absence and I look forward to following all of these talented demonstrators.
The theme of our blog hop this month is "Anything Goes." So, you are going to see a lot of different and unique projects throughout the hop! We are also welcoming a new member to the Blogging Friends Blog Hop, so be sure to visit Hannah Townsend and leave her some love.
Today I am sharing a card and pillowbox I created using the Falling For Leaves stamp set and coordinating dies.
*Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Cajun Craze cardstock. Using the largest Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Nesting dies from Gina Marie Designs, I die cut the first layer from Very Vanilla cardstock. On this sheet of cardstock I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Cajun Craze on the top right and lower left corners. I also punched leaves from Gold Glimmer paper using the leaf punch Cajun Craze cardstock and the sprig punch. I cut a 4" sheet of Burlap ribbon, notched both ends and adhered it to the center of the card. I die cut a large circle from Crumb Cake cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment in Whisper White. This die cut circle was added to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed today's projects!
