Hello friends and happy Fri-YAY to you! I hope you have great things planned for the weekend ahead.
I'm also sending lots of love to all you mama's this weekend. I wish you a very happy Mother's Day!
"A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take."

Just when I told myself I was all done purchasing from the retiring Last Chance Products, I somehow convinced myself I needed this Feather Together stamp set. After making this fun card, it was totally worth all $17.00 of it! I love how this cheerful card turned out. Did you notice anything about the colors of the feathers?
They were stamped in each of the5 NEW 2018-2020 In-Colors!
From left to right these new In-Colors are: Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel.
The base of this card is made from Crumb Cake cardstock. The first matted layer is a sheet of Whisper White cardstock that I ran through my Big Shot using the Garden Trellis Texturized Embossing Folder. Using the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Rectangle dies, I ran the next layer of Crumb Cake cardstock though my Big Shot to achieve the scalloped edging. This is one of my favorite dies! I love both the scalloped AND stitched look. On a sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the five feathers in proper rainbow order (ROYGB - no V!) and then I stamped the "thinking of you" sentiment in the center of the feathers using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Before I adhered this stamped image to the card, I cut a 5 1/2" piece of burlap ribbon, notched both edges and adhered it to the card using Tear and Tape adhesive. Lastly, I added a coat of Clear Wink of Stella to each of the feathers and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for added sparkle.
This stamp set boasts a wonderful combination of scripted font and beautiful feathers that you can layer together. Use this set to encourage your friends when they just need you to flock to them for support.
This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want.
Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

Hello friends and happy Sunday to you! I hope you are all enjoying a long holiday weekend! I'm excited that I get to have one more day of fun and relaxing tomorrow instead of going back to work. Three day weekends are the BEST!
Today I am sharing a simple card that I designed with a couple of friends in mind who have been ill. Winter is the worst season for colds and the flu and, well, as we all know, it's just no fun to be sick. I hope this bright and uplifting card will help to cheer them up.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Daffodil Delight cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs I cut a piece of Basic Gray cardstock for the first layer. On a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image of the woman holding the umbrella and the sentiment in Basic Gray Archival Ink. Both of these are from the "Beautiful You" stamp set. Using the "Lift Me Up" stamp I stamped the small clouds. I also die cut two larger clouds out using the Up & Away thinlit dies and adhered the clouds with Stampin' Dimenstionals. For added sparkle, I put a double coat of Clear Wink of Stella on the clouds. I also added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card to simulate raindrops.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
