Hello friends and happy Saturday to you! I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend. I will be working on making card kits for our upcoming February Cape Cod craft retreat. I'll tell you more about that soon, but you can see pictures here and here of our last two retreats. You can also follow me on Instagram and Instastories for more insider scoop!
I am also still working on making a lot of my Valentine's Day cards and today I have a fun one to share with you. This is my first time using the "Froggy Friends" set from Sunny Studio Stamps and it is really cute!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Basic Black cardstock. I cut the first layer on Wild Wasabi cardstock using the Stitched Nesting Rectangles from Gina Marie Designs. On a 5" x 4 1/4" sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the water rings in Soft Sky ink and the sentiment in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and Melon Mambo ink.
I die cut the frogs, lily pads and accessories from the Froggy Friends Snippets die and then colored them in with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I adhered the frogs to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height and then stamped the small hearts in Melon Mambo ink. Lastly I added lots of Clear Wink of Stella for some sparkle.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
