Hello readers and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The weather was mostly beautiful here in Massachusetts, but, unfortunately I spent most of the weekend in bed resting and recovering from a recently diagnosed UTI and minor kidney infection. A trip to the urgent care and two prescriptions later, I'm feeling more and more like myself again with every passing day. I think I caught in it's early stages, so I wasn't sidelined significantly. In fact, Sunday, I finally got out of bed and ventured into my craft room for a good portion of the day.
Today's card was designed for a stamp camp that I have at the end of this week with my friend Tim in mind. Tim is the only male who attends my classes and I'm pretty sure he's over everything we create that is pink or has glitter and flowers! So, after asking him what some of his personal interests were, I discovered baseball was one of them. I hope he likes this card!
Not a Boston Red Sox fan? It's very simple to change out the colors and letters for YOUR favorite team.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. I cut a sheet of 5" x 3 3/4" Night of Navy cardstock and adhere that directly to the center of the card base. Next I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock. I stamped the baseball player in Early Espresso ink on the right side of the Crumb Cake cardsock. I adhered a navy polka dot strip of washi tape and a red pinstripe strip of washi tape to this cardstock. I adhered this cardstock on top of the Night of Navy cardstock at an angle. From a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, I die cut a Stitched Scallop circle from Gina Marie Designs dies. Using the Large Number Framelit Dies, I die cut a large "B" from Real Red cardstock. I adhered the "B" to the center of the circle using Foam Adhesive Strips. Lastly I punched some small stars from Gold Glimmer and Red Glimmer cardstock and adhered them to the card using mini Glue Dots.
I hope today's card inspires YOU to create something beautiful!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Hello my friends and happy Friday! TGIF! So, today's card is going to have two outcomes - either you love it because it's a baseball themed masculine card, or, you hate it because it's a Yankees baseball themed masculine card! Well, in my house, this card that I created for Mr. Super Stamp Girl using the masculine theme challenge from Watercooler Wednesday was a B-I-G hit! Huuuuuuuge! I'm talking wife of the year award here!
Here is the challenge banner that inspired my card:
