Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Today I am sharing three cards with you that I created using a new stamp set and coordinating punch called
"Pop of Petals." If you're thinking how colorful and pretty these cards are, then you'll be happy to learn that these are three beautiful NEW colors featured in the 2018-2019 annual catalog! From left to right (in the photo below) the colors are as follows:
Poppy Parade (nope, that's not Real Red!), Highland Heather and Pineapple Punch.
Here is the new Pop of Petals bundle from Stampin' UP!:
I also used the sentiment from "Rooted in Nature:"

**Please note all cards were made using the same dimensions, just different colors.
The base of this A2 sized card was made from Whisper White cardstock. For the first matted layer, I cut a sheet of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 5 1/4" x 4". On the top half of the Highland Heather cardstock, I stamped the background flowers in Highland Heather ink. I cut a sheet of 4" x 2 3/4" sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock and ran it through the Tufted Dynamic Texturized Embossing Folder. (*Note that I changed to the Garden Trellis Texturized Embossing Folder when I found the texture of the Tufted TIEF wasn't so pronounced). Before I adhered this embossed sheet of cardstock down, I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon around it and tied a "faux bow."
Using the Gina Marie Stitched Circle dies, I die cut a circle out of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink. I adhered this circle in the top center of the card. I then heat embossed the flowers in White Stampin' Emboss powder on both Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I punched them out before adhering them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly I added a Pearl Basic Jewel to each of the flowers' center.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
