Hello my friends and happy Thursday! If you live in the Northeast like me, you're probably still digging out from all that snow! THANK GOD for snowblowers (and husbands!) On the up side, I got to enjoy an early release yesterday from work and spent the entire afternoon in my craft room. I completed a couple challenge cards (including today's), plus I put together my card for a shoebox swap this Saturday.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" sheet of Peekaboo Peach cardstock and ran it through the Garden Trellis Texturized Embossing Folder before adhering it to the card. I cut a 5 1/2" x 1" strip of Gold Glimmer cardstock and adhered that to the center of the card. On a 5" x 3 3/4" sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the sentiment randomly in Crumb Cake ink. Using the Hello Friend stamp set, I heat embossed the wreath in White Stampin' Emboss powder on the lower right corner of the Crumb Cake cardstock. Using a retired flower punch, I punched five petite flowers from Peekaboo Peach cardstock and adhered those to the wreath. I added small pearls to the center of each flower. I popped each flower with mini Stampin' Dimensionals. On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the word "friend" in Crumb Cake ink and notched both ends before adhering it to the center of the wreath. Lastly I adhered half of a doily to the bottom of the Crumb Cake cardstock before adhering this piece to complete the card.
This card was inspired by the CASE the designer challenge at Global Design Project:
