Hi friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am very excited to be sharing today's project with you!
I have been experimenting a lot in my craft room lately determined to bring you new interactive cards and other papercraft projects. Last weekend I created this Graphic 45 mini album! I have long admired Graphic 45 products and thanks to Robin's Room, I am blessed to have a lot of them.
This entire album took me about 2 hours from start to finish, which I think is pretty impressive! I used one 12" x 12" pack of Botanical Tea Graphic 45 paper, plus a few other supplies (listed at the bottom of this post). The end result was a 6" x 6" mini album with flip fold pages and pocket tags.
I love how this project came out and I look forward to creating more of them in varying styles with other products!
Here is the wonderful and easy to follow Graphic 45 YouTube tutorial that I used to create this mini-album:
*Please note: I followed the dimension measurements in the video exactly, but I varied the papers used to make my album slightly different. I would also highly suggest using Tear & Tape, Red Line Tape or another strong adhesive when assembling this album and not a Snail runner as used in the video.
I hope you have enjoyed today's mini album! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
List of supplies:
Look, but don't touch! That's my motto when it comes to my Graphic 45 paper! If there is any one specific item that I collect/hoard it's G45. It's the kind of paper that really is too pretty to use! I keep it stored separately from all my other papers - honestly it's hidden away in the "special" drawer! It's patterns are often hard to find and seemingly, it's N-E-V-E-R on sale.
Graphic 45 is an award-winning scrapbook and paper crafting company offering vintage inspired products that capture the flamboyant style of the 1920's and 30's - with vibrant color, irresistible texture and imaginative design. It is excellent quality with decades-old appeal that is both fresh and familiar. Want to see some amazing G45 inspiration? Check out these FREE Graphic 45 Project Sheets.
For today's card, I "spared a square!" This card uses just ONE 5 1/4" x 4" piece of the Botanical Tea Graphic 45 collection. It's proof that a little does go a long way.
Here is a closer look at some of the pages in the Botanical Tea collection by Graphic 45:
The base of this A2 size card is Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" sheet of Botanical Tea paper from the G45 collection and adhered it directly to the Pear Pizzazz card base. I used a small piece of the same Botanical Tea paper to make a diagonal strip across the bottom the card for contrast. Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Dies, I cut a medium sized rectangle from Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I cut a nesting rectangle from Whisper White cardstock. On this Whisper White rectangle in Pear Pizzazz ink I stamped the sentiment. I adhered these layered rectangles to the center of the card.
Using White Stampin' Emboss Powder I heat embossed a variety of flowers (similar here) on Blushing Bride cardstock and Flirty Flamingo cardstock. But, you can use any flower stamp set for a similar effect. I adhered the flowers usingStampin' Dimensionals. I die cut leaves from green glimmer paper (company unknown) to give the flowers additional sparkle. These leaves were adhered with regular adhesive underneath the flowers.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
