Hello friends and happy Wednesday! If this is your first time visiting my website, welcome! I am Crystal Komara, a.k.a. "Super Stamp Girl." If you are a regular visitor thanks for following along with me nearly every single day. Be sure to say hi in the comments, I love to know who my readers are (and why they visit)! I am truly grateful for each of you and I'm happy, and humbled, that you come back for some creative inspiration and, at times, a little entertaining humor from the oh-so-glamorous life of a cat mom and stamping fiend!
Today (and every Wednesday) I share my Design Team card for the Watercooler Wednesday challenges. This week we have an "Anything Goes" challenge and I'm sharing this fun cactus creation using the "Stuck on You" stamp set by Gina K. If you follow my blog regularly then you will know that I am currently on a spending freeze and have been working hard at using many of the unused stamp sets in my craft room. It's been fun to see what's hidden in all my beautiful Ikea cabinets and I hope you are also enjoying seeing a variety of never-before-seen-here-products!
Full supply list at end of post.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Old Olive cardstock. The first matted layer is a sheet of 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" sheet of watercolored paper that I had in my scrap bin. I splattered some Old Olive ink onto the paper for added detail. I stamped all images from the Gina K "Stuck on You" stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. All images were then colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers before being die cut with the coordinating "Stuck on You" dies.
Once all images were colored and die cut, I adhered them to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. I notched both ends before adhering it to a strip of Gold Glimmer paper that was attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added depth.
Today's card was inspired by the "Anything Goes" challenge at Watercooler Wednesday:
I hope you have enjoyed today's card! Please join us at Watercooler Wednesday and share YOUR papercraft creations!
Thanks for visiting and stay cool out there!

Hello friends! Welcome to Day 4 of my 2018-2019 catalog sneak peek! Are you excited for the new catalog yet? We still have a little time until it becomes available to all customers on June 1, but, it's never too soon to start writing your wish list and leaving it on the kitchen counter, the dining room table or "accidentally" emailing it to your significant other or BFF! Do YOU have any favorites yet? A new favorite In Color or stamp set that I have featured this week?
Today I am sharing what is MY favorite out of the pre-release products available for demonstrators to begin promoting this new catalog. Because I love the park bench and multi-layered plant in this new Sitting Pretty stamp set, I'm willing to overlook the fact it has a bulldog, a squirrel and a bird, but NO cat. I'm guessing Stampin' UP! doesn't realize that they make feline friendly leashes for us crazy cat ladies who want to take our equally as loved fur children outdoors!
Not saying I'm that crazy cat lady, but I do have a t-shirt that reads, "I may seem all quiet and reserved, but if you mess with my cat, I will break out a level of
crazy that will make your nightmares seem like a happy place!"
Yup, I am that crazy cat lady. . .
Here is the very first I made using this new Sitting Pretty stamp set. *No bulldog included. : )
Thanks for visiting! Be sure to come back tomorrow for my Sneak Peek Giveaway!
