Hello friends and happy Saturday! I've got a very busy weekend ahead with our 5th Annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack today in Suffield, Connecticut! I put this event on the first weekend of every November with two other Stampin' UP! demonstrators and we always have a real good turnout.
If you haven't joined us yet, maybe I'll see you at our Spring Stamp-a-Stack (date TBD).
Today I'm sharing with you two cards that I made using my Gina Marie Designs Quilt die. These quilt dies are beautiful, but, they do entail quite amount of die cutting and paper piecing, hence the reason I've probably never used them until now. . . But, I'm so glad that I did, because the work is totally worth it and the end result is quite impressive. I can't wait to send these cards to some of my quilt making friends!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!

Who are the ‘Blogging Friends’? Just over two years ago, I rounded up a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of papercrafting we have created a fun blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created!
In case you’ve never ‘done’ a blog hop before, it’s really easy! At the bottom of this post, you’ll see a "next" image and when you click on it, you’ll be taken directly to the next participant in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you’ll hop through all of the participating blogs, back to where you started – and you’ll see all of the amazing projects created for your inspiration! You won't want to miss a stop, I promise!
Before I get to sharing my projects for this month's hop, I'd like to welcome our newest member:
Nikki Daigneau from Paper and Purl Gurl!
Nikki is my downline and I'm happy she has agreed to join us each month as we create ideas to inspire you!
Please be sure to leave her and all the other member's some love in the form of kind comments as you hop along.
Our theme this month: Thanksgiving
I have a craft retreat to the Berkshires coming up next week and we always make little gifts or treats to give to the others in our group that attend This year there are 11 of us going and I made these fun little paint can bucket treats filled with fall colored M & M's for everyone to enjoy! In fact, I actually liked these so much, they might also be given out on Thanksgiving - if we end up hosting my family this year!
I purchased these mini plastic paint cans from Amazon and filled them with Peanut M & M's, because peanut M & M's are WAAAAAAY better than the plain ones, unless of course, you are allergic to nuts!
I cut 7 1/2" x 1 1/4" strips of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to adhere around the base of the paint can.
I stamped the "For You" sentiment from the Birthday Blooms stamp set on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink.
Then I added some Crushed Curry ribbon, Early Espresso ribbon, Gold Ribbon, a gold glimmer leaf using the new Leaf Punch and an Old Olive stamped leaf from Vintage leaves to complete these adorable buckets!
I hope you have enjoyed these fun treat containers and are inspired to recreate them for your next gathering or event! These would work for any holiday really now that M & M's come in every color!
You don't want to miss out on the rest of the Blogging Friends Blog Hopping adventure, so, click below to advance to directly to Anna's website. She is super talented! Or, click below on any of the names to see what they have created for you!

Hello friends and happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Nikki and I arrived home last night from our Creative Retreat on the Cape with Jenn Shurkus and I'm exhausted! Mentally and physically! It's like 24 hours of stamping overload with 80 plus women on virtually zero sleep!
Today is going to be the L-O-N-G-E-S-T Monday ever! But, it was a great time and I look forward to sharing many photos from the event with you soon.
Now onto today's stunning pumpkin cards made using The Great Pumpkin stamp and dies from Stamplistic. These came out simply gorgeous if I do say so myself! Yup, shamelessly tooting my own horn here. . .
In fact, when I was originally making these cards back in September on my vacation, Stamplistic saw them on my Instagram and asked to repost them to their page recognizing my work. What an honor!
I normally provide card details and dimensions for my projects, but, because these two cards were very detailed and time consuming, I'm providing just a list of supplies this time and not the step-by-step instructions. Sorry!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
