Hi there! Hola amigos! Remember me? The girl who makes cards but is seemingly late for every holiday?
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Yes, it's May 16th. . . It's all good.
I'm not late. I'm SUPER early for next year!
And yes, while I was creating this card I was totally rocking out (in my head) to Lionel Ritchie's All Night Long. Be thankful I couldn't figure out how to add that audio to today's post or you'd be salsa-ing with me. All. Day. Long.
Fiesta like there's no manana, friends!
The base of this A2 sized cad is made from Crumb Cake cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Nesting dies from Gina Marie Designs, I cut the first layer from Whisper White cardstock. Using Tuxedo Memento Black ink I stamped the sentiment in the bottom center of the card. On a scrap sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the two cactuses
(cacti, I think!? ) in Wild Wasabi ink and fussy cut them. I adhered them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. To make the banners, I die cut them out in Wild Wasabi, Strawberry Slush, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry and then stamped the images on them in Versamark ink. I heat embossed the banners in White Stampin' Emboss powder and then I adhered alternating pieces of each colored cardstock to make a more colorful pennant. The banners were adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Today's card was inspired by the color challenge at The Paper Players:
Gracias! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
